About me
Welcome! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas who has been working in the mental health field since 2013. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress management, self esteem, life changes, addictions, and more.
My counseling style is flexible, open, and non-directive, because I believe that clients experience the best outcomes when they are able to play an active role in determining the direction of their therapy. In our counseling sessions, my number one priority is fostering a therapeutic environment in which you can feel comfortable and empowered as we work together toward your treatment goals. I have a strong background in cognitive-behavioral therapy, I take a client-centered approach, and I believe that mindfulness is a vital skill from which we could all benefit.

James has been wonderful for me. He helped me understand the root of my issues, gave me guidance on how to tackle them, and led me to my own conclusions. After working with different therapists in the past, James has been a refreshing addition to my life. He does a great job actively listening to what I am working on and gives me some specific goals or guidelines to focus on.
