Elizabeth Lucarelli, LMSW, LISW
About me
I am an independently licensed clinical social worker (LCSW in Florida and LMSW-Clinical and Macro in Michigan) with over 19 years of professional experience. I specialize in working with both individuals and families, as well as macro-level systems and teams. My extensive experience spans the entire continuum of life, from birth to death, providing mental health diagnosis, treatment planning, brief interventions, and ongoing psychotherapy.
Throughout my career, I have worked in diverse settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, and home environments. I have dedicated 11+ years to supporting veterans and their caregivers/families, guiding them from the transition from active duty through end-of-life care. Additionally, I have specialized training in crisis intervention, adolescent treatment, and child welfare concerns.
My clinical approach is solution-focused, aimed at helping clients build a robust "toolbox" of coping skills and mindfulness exercises to navigate our challenging world. I assist clients with issues such as depression, adjustment to illness, stress, anxiety, and coping with grief and loss. My goal is to help clients manage life's changes and challenges effectively.
I strive to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I aim to provide a space where clients feel supported and empowered. My approach is to start where my clients are and help them work towards their identified goals. I offer empathy, support, guidance, and a listening ear, helping clients develop the tools needed to cope with life's stressors.
Taking the first step towards a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage and strength. I am here to support you in that journey.

Elizabeth has been excellent to talk with. She is very respectful, warm and professional. She is very clearly passionate about her work, as she has many resources and recommendations for various things I’ve been dealing with. She made me feel comfortable and explained her approach from the start. She continues to listen and provide dedicated, non-judgemental support and guidance each session, while keeping my goals in mind. She is a terrific therapist.
